Joined NCSSM in September 2025
Kierca Kimbel joined NCSSM in August 2025 as a Community Coordinator for our Morganton campus. She holds bachelor’s degrees in sociology with K-12 teaching licensure from Berea College of Berea, Kentucky. Prior to joining NCSSM, Kierca served as a public school teacher for 17 years, previously teaching seventh- and eighth-grade math. Additionally, she served as a middle and high school student council advisor. Kierca has traveled with students to Japan, Germany and Switzerland on educational field trips. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, yoga, live music and mindful practices.
