Jennifer Ashe joined NCSSM in 2004. In her current position as Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students, Jennifer’s responsibilities include supervising the Student Services team including Community Coordinators, Senior Community Coordinators, Assistant Director of Prevention Education/Training and Student Activities, and the Associate Director of Student Services. Within Student Services, Jennifer and her team build community, supervise and support residence halls, offer extracurricular activities, coordinate student orientation programs, sponsor Student Government and student clubs, implement the Code of Conduct, and coordinate two graduation requirements; service learning and campus service. Prior to her current role, Jennifer served as a Student Life Instructor, Student Activities Coordinator, Assistant Director of Student Services, and Director of Student Services. Jennifer also serves as the Title IX Coordinator for NCSSM and is responsible for maintaining and updating our policy and procedures, educating students and employees, and coordinating investigations and processes. One of Jennifer’s favorite parts of her position is working with the community coordinators as they support students across campus.
