Jada Lucas joined NCSSM in December 2024 as a Community Coordinator on our Durham campus. Jada previously served as the Lead Resident Assistant of events and logistics at Duke pre-college residential programs, in addition to fulfilling roles at her previous institution as a graduate assistant for the East Carolina University Testing Center and as a graduate research assistant for the ECU Department of Criminal Justice. She has also worked in the ECU Women and Gender Office assisting with educational and inclusion-focused programming. Jada also upholds a passion for the arts, as a member of the ECU Marching Pirates, the ECU basketball pep band, and the concert band for most of her collegiate career. Her other interests include herpetology and discussing the importance of appropriate reptile husbandry. In her spare time, she enjoys gaming, concerts, spending time outside, and visiting theme parks!
