Justin Plummer joined NCSSM as a Community Coordinator in August 2008. His favorite parts of hall life were hall meetings, camping and hiking with students, trips to the state fair, and all of the exciting end-of-year activities. In addition to working closely with the residential students, his first few years were characterized by a lot of Online Weekends and orientations. He has sponsored a number of J-Terms, including video games and narratology, Ernest Hemingway’s Key West, Spanish immersion in Costa Rica, and environmental education in Panama. Justin became the Assistant Director of Student Services in June 2016 and was excited to move off campus after seven years living on the Fourth West residence hall. Justin has also assumed greater responsibility in equity programming on campus and has really appreciated how much people have taken him up on learning more about equity, diversity, and inclusion at NCSSM.
