Jessy Estrada joined NCSSM in August 2026 as a Community Coordinator for our Morganton campus. Prior to NCSSM, she worked as a middle and high school teacher for more than a decade, and looks back fondly on that time. Outside of work, Jessy enjoys gardening and movies, and would like cooking much more if it didn’t involve cleaning. She is a mother of two young men who have strongly encouraged her, and a female poodle mix dog named Metis. Jessy earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish language and literature with a teaching component from Stony Brook University.
