Hands on! Minds on!

Every Online course comes with an opportunity for students to come to campus each semester during an Online Weekend. Those who live far from campus can be eligible to come Friday night and stay over for Saturday activities which include community building, collaborative activities with your class, and enrichment sessions. Some courses consider Online Weekend to be optional, while other courses depend on Online Weekend for experiences that are integral to the course.

Sharing experiences

Online Weekends bring together students from all around the state, along with their unique life experiences and backgrounds, to meet their instructors and their classmates and to build community. It is a great opportunity to appreciate the wonderful diversity found in our state. We encourage attendance, even if the weekend is optional for your course.
