Biography
Monique Williams is a North Carolina native from Wayne County and a graduate of NCSSM. She earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from North Carolina State University in 2002 and a doctorate degree in biochemistry from the University of Florida. In 2010, she joined the faculty of NCSSM, where she has taught many chemistry courses including General Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry. Since 2018, she has worked in the online program teaching a variety of science courses including Nanotechnology, Scientific Programming, Applied Chemistry and Engineering, and Research in Chemistry. In the summer, she works as a faculty mentor in the Step Up to STEM program.
