Joined NCSSM in August 2022
Katie Unruhe joined NCSSM as an Instructor of Physics on the Durham campus in August 2022. She earned her bachelor’s degree in physics and Spanish at Vassar College, and her MAT degree at Duke University. As a physics instructor Katie brings her experience teaching high school science learners of all levels, ensuring they know they can all successfully learn physics. She is also a Senior Knowles Fellow, which means that she reflects regularly on her teaching practice with an amazing group of teachers from across the country.
