Louis Gordon ’83

Louis Gordon is president of L. Gordon Iron and Metal Company in Statesville, N.C., and former co-owner of SMR Worldwide in Charlotte. He has served on the boards for Iredell Health Systems, Recycling Association of North Carolina, Iredell Museums, Inc., Statesville-area Wells Fargo, Mitchell Community College Endowment for Excellence, and Hospice of Iredell County. Louis holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Tulane University. Louis and his family currently reside in Houston, TX.
