Rick Stone is chair emeritus of the Foundation Board, having served as a board member, board chair, and chair of the NCSSM Odyssey Capital Campaign. He is on the board of the Paul Taylor Dance Company in New York, the Council for the Arts at MIT, and the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, N.H. Prior to retirement, Rick was an investment banker in New York City after having taught English literature at Boston University. After retiring, he studied and taught biblical literature, earning an M.T.S. from Duke University Divinity School and an M.T. from Harvard University Divinity School. Rick received a bachelor’s from Princeton University, a master’s in finance from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a doctorate in English literature from Cornell University.
