Terri Ingle-Krause joined NCSSM’s Morganton team as a School Counselor in July 2022. A native of the NC mountains, she earned her bachelor’s in deaf education at Lenoir-Rhyne College, and her master’s of school counseling at Appalachian State University. Terri began her career as a teacher at the NC School for the Deaf in Morganton, then transitioned to the role of school counselor. Since 2003 she has worked in McDowell County, with most of her time at McDowell Early College. There she assisted students with personal, social, and academic issues through individual and group counseling and taught a seminar class to assist seniors through the college application process. She loves working with students and families to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys planting flowers, working in the garden, and all things outside. She lives with her husband Scott and their kitties in McDowell County.
