As a Counselor at NCSSM since 2003, Gina Burger created and maintains both the internal and external Counseling Services’ websites. In addition, she served as the first school site manager for Naviance, providing training to students, families, and faculty. Gina previously served as the Special Needs Coordinator and as the co-leader for the Strategic Plan Action Team #6. Gina was awarded the UNC Board of Governors Exceptional Service to Students Award for 2016-2017, and she is enjoying her new role as a personal counselor. She is a National Certified Counselor and holds her National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification in school counseling.
