Taylor Gibson has been at NCSSM since 2013, and currently serves as an Instructor of Mathematics and the Executive Director of the Ryden Program in Leadership and Innovation in Artificial Intelligence. Previously, Taylor served as the Dean of Data Science and Interdisciplinary Initiatives from 2022 to 2025 and the Dean of Mathematics from 2018 to 2022. In his roles at NCSSM he has helped create new applied mathematics courses and programs such as cryptography and data science. Taylor also leads the annual NCSSM Data Science Summer Institute and co-facilitates the NCSSM Faculty Fellows program in Data Science & AI.
