Samantha Sutton joined NCSSM in April 2024 as Academic Programs Assistant for our Morganton campus. Sam grew up on Ocracoke Island, North Carolina, where she lived until she was accepted to NCSSM-Durham’s residential program. After graduating from NCSSM in 2019, she earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science at North Carolina State University. Prior to joining the NCSSM team, she worked as Assistant Administrator/Museum Manager at the Ocracoke Preservation Society Museum and Gift Shop. In her free time, Sam enjoys fishing, traveling, and hiking with friends.
