Rob Caldwell joined NCSSM in 2006. Originally from Hickory, North Carolina, he attended Brigham Young University and NC State University, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in film and media studies. He is an Instructional and Information Designer, specializing in curriculum backward design, accessibility, and educational technology implementation. He is also a certified Quality Matters Coordinator and course reviewer, and was the winner of the 2018 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.
