Gerri Cole

Gerri Cole works with programs that serve diverse and underrepresented K-12 students across North Carolina. Having a passion for STEM education, Gerri began her career as a chemistry and physical science teacher in Cabarrus County. She has also worked extensively in the states of Georgia, California, and Maryland, helping to recruit, engage, and retain diverse and underrepresented students into STEM majors and careers. Gerri has a heart for people, and she loves to encourage others to use their gifts and talents to pursue their dreams and aspirations. In her spare time, she likes to read, to travel, and to watch sports, especially her beloved Carolina Panthers and Georgia Bulldogs.
