Camilla Brothers serves as the Director of Instructional Leadership. She provides leadership and support for NCSSM Connect students and faculty, helping to develop and maintain partnerships with North Carolina public schools and school systems. In her role, she especially enjoys talking to people about the dynamic learning opportunities available through the Division of Extended Learning at NCSSM. Camilla grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, near the Charleston Air Force base, which introduced her to people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. These experiences nurtured her desire for inclusiveness and passion for advocating for underrepresented populations. Camilla has over 20 years of experience working in educational settings. Before coming to NCSSM, Camilla served as a classroom teacher, curriculum facilitator, Title I specialist, and school administrator. She enjoys gardening, working on sudoku puzzles, and going on weekend travel adventures in her free time.
