Since July 2016, Laura Baker Campbell has served as primary administrative support to the chancellor, assisting with the day-to-day business of NCSSM, serving as primary liaison to the Board of Trustees, and helping to coordinate a wide variety of initiatives and events on and off campus. Her entire career has been devoted to education, having taught English to junior high students in Botswana with the US Peace Corps; to freshman students at North Carolina State University; and to Adult Literacy and ESOL students for a national, community-based non-profit. In her spare time she enjoys reading, taking walks and hikes, relaxing in the porch swing, listening to music, visiting with small groups of friends, and being organized.
