Karen Barlow joined the Development team as a major gifts officer in August 2018. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her master’s degree in public administration from NC State University. Prior to joining NCSSM, she worked at YMCA of the Triangle as a development specialist and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle as a major gifts officer. Karen celebrates the mission and impact of NCSSM and how it creates unique opportunities for diverse populations.
