Jessica Jess Anderson joined NCSSM in August 2022 as a Community Coordinator and now serves as a Residential Education Instructor. She is an NCSSM alumna from the Class of 2008 and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain scholar. She worked in partnership marketing at Major League Soccer in New York City after college but chose to return to North Carolina to pursue a clinical doctorate in physical therapy at UNC-Chapel Hill. For over three years, she worked as an outpatient neurological physical therapist at UNC Health, mentoring student physical therapists during their clinical rotations and Neuro STEP UP scholars while they completed their specialized scholarship curriculum. Jess hopes to use the knowledge she has gained from her previous careers as well as her experience as an NCSSM alumna to support students and help them achieve their potential at NCSSM.
