Chris Brumett joined NCSSM in October 2026 as Project Coordinator for Facilities on our Morganton campus. Chris is from the Lexington, KY, area and retired from the Kentucky Community and Technical College System after 27 years, where he was the Director of the Financials System for the last five years. The 22 years prior, he worked in Facilities Support Services as Director of Asset Management, so he is excited to be a part of the Facilities team on the NCSSM-Morganton campus. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a Master of Public Administration degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He enjoys spending spare time with his family and pets, hiking, kayaking and traveling to outdoor destinations.
