Dave Williams joined the NCSSM-Morganton team in April 2022, bringing 35 years of experience in commercial and residential construction. After earning a bachelor’s in philosophy, he owned and operated a commercial glass and glazing company in Brevard, N.C., until 2002 when he founded West Main Development Co. Specializing in urban infill and downtown revitalization projects, Dave enjoyed the complex and fast-paced nature of the development process. For the last five years Dave has been the instructor of building trades and facilities maintenance at Schenck Job Corps Center in Pisgah Forest, N.C. In his free time Dave likes to create architectural specialty products and functional art installations.
