Chad Barrow

Director of Capital Projects and Morganton Facilities Management

Chad Barrow joined the NCSSM team as Director of Capital Projects and Morganton Facilities Management in August 2021. In his previous role as project manager at Barnhill Contracting, Chad spent the last two years supervising the Morganton campus project. Through over 20 years of building experience and the rigors of earning a physics degree, Chad has an established track record of collaborating on construction and technical documents, and he enjoys taking complex projects through the design, development, and construction life-cycle. Chad’s experience in facilities management comes largely from a 10-year career as the director of construction at a small, nonprofit campus. Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from North Carolina State University, where he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Nuclear Physics.
