Norma Evans joined NCSSM as purchasing manager in August 2021, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in purchasing. Her expertise includes knowledge of State of NC purchasing statutes, administrative codes, and term contracts, completion of RFQs, IFBs, and RFPs. She is an experienced manager of waivers of competition, specification composition, inventory and non-inventory purchases for a diverse range of commodities, e-quotes, vendor site visits, billing reconciliation and resolution, and procurement card purchases. She has traveled extensively internationally, participating in and conducting a variety of projects and trainings. In her free time, Norma is involved in several volunteer activities and enjoys spending time with her husband, Craig, and their daughter.
