Kim Avery joined NCSSM in September 2026 as an HR Specialist based on our Morganton campus, where she supports recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and other HR needs. Before joining NCSSM, Kim worked as a Sales Training Coordinator and HR Assistant, gaining experience in recruitment, employee support, training, and day-to-day HR operations. She enjoys working with people and helping make the workplace experience as positive and welcoming as possible. Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management at Western Carolina University. Outside of work, she loves traveling, attending concerts, and discovering new music, especially K-pop and independent artists. She is also a longtime Disney fan and enjoys exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, and making memories along the way.
