Mari Saint-Pierre joined NCSSM in a temporary role supporting Academic Programs before being hired permanently in 2024 as an HR Specialist. Mari’s background in human resources began in 2006 as a Training Specialist at DoveLewis, a non-profit in Portland, Oregon. From there, she was hired as Program Coordinator at the National Policy Consensus Center at Portland State University, where she managed an internship program that trained graduate students in facilitating collaborative stakeholder groups, and liaised with HR to hire and onboard NPCC staff. Mari is excited to return to HR where she feels her experience and talents are especially well suited. Mari earned her B.A. in history at George Mason University and MFA in creative nonfiction at Pacific University. When not at work, Mari thrives on studying astrology, creating art of all kinds, bonding with nature, and pursuing the passion she shares with her husband Rick for watching films and TV series from around the world.
