Emily Cunard joined NCSSM in October 2024 as Director of Communications for our Morganton campus. Emily is a graduate of marketing and public administration from California State University, San Bernardino, and her career has focused on uplifting the stories of her community and collaborating with local government entities to meet communication objectives. Emily works to tell the stories of NCSSM across both campuses and focuses on the internal communications, photography, social media, and publications that reach into the NCSSM community and beyond. After moving to North Carolina with her family, Emily enjoys exploring the local yarn shops, book stores, and hiking trails around Morganton.
