Reunion Challenge
Each fall, alumni from milestone reunion classes return to NCSSM to reconnect and celebrate. Leading up to Alumni Weekend, the Reunion Challenge is a special opportunity for these celebrating classes to honor their unique NCSSM roots. By making a gift in honor of your reunion year, you celebrate your class legacy and help pay it forward for the next generation of Unicorns and Dragons.
Giving Tuesday
After Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday. Held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this global celebration of generosity is the perfect time to join the movement and make a year-end gift. Unite with the NCSSM community on Giving Tuesday to empower the next generation of innovators and leaders.
NCSSM March Challenge
NCSSM March Challenge is our annual alumni giving “competition.” Throughout the month of March, our alumni classes go head-to-head to see who can rally the most donors. All participating alumni count toward their class’s total numbers. Rally your classmates, join the friendly competition, and see if your graduating class can claim the ultimate bragging rights and show the strongest NCSSM school pride!
The Greater Challenge Fund (Urestricted Annual Fund)
Reflecting the original motto of our school, the Greater Challenge Fund impacts every department at NCSSM. Gifts to the Greater Challenge Fund are unrestricted, allowing the greatest flexibility to support the school’s needs by providing everything from textbooks to tennis balls. You provide the inspiration our students need to accept the greater challenge!
By making a gift to the Greater Challenge Fund, you join together with parents, alumni, employees, and friends of the school to fund the margin of excellence that defines NCSSM.
The $1.3 million needed annually for the Greater Challenge Fund makes it possible to:
- Fuel Research and Discovery: Support student mentorships, academic exploration through research opportunities, and fees for prestigious academic competitions.
- Prioritize Student Wellness: Provide accessible mental health and wellness resources that support the personal growth of every student across our campuses and programs.
- Enrich Student Life: Enhance campus culture and build community through student engagement activities, clubs, and athletic programs.
