Tracy Poole joined NCSSM as an Admissions Counselor and Web-Based Media Specialist for the Morganton campus in October 2022. She was born and raised in McDowell County and currently resides in Morganton. Prior to NCSSM, she completed an 11-year career as an elementary school teacher. She also has experience working in college admissions in Kansas City, MO, and graphic design in Asheville, NC. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and all things sports (Go Canes!). One of her favorite hobbies is seeing live music performances, and she enjoys all genres except for country. When not at a dog park, sporting event, or concert you can usually find her musky fishing with her dad on a nearby lake.
