Kiana Washburn joined NCSSM in April 2025 as an Admissions Counselor based on our Morganton campus. Originally from Marion, NC, she has been a resident of Burke County since 2023. Kiana graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a bachelor’s degree in management with a focus in economics. In her previous roles, she worked to create viable solutions in business administration, management, and professional development. Now, as an admissions counselor, she promotes high school education opportunities to those interested in pursuing an education in STEM. Outside of work, one of her favorite hobbies is cooking, and she always enjoys finding new recipes to try.
