Lindsay Barrick (she/her) joined NCSSM in July 2022 as Special Events Coordinator for the Morganton campus. She works to make space for all people; helps create a sense of belonging; and nurtures places where folks feel at home to be their authentic selves. Special events are near to her heart. As a former programs director and arts executive director, she understands the power in gathering. Lindsay believes that when people come together to celebrate, commemorate, or learn, individuals become more engaged, informed, and connected with their community. She loves building bridges and working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Lindsay thrives by fostering meaningful relationships. A life-long artist, Lindsay is surrounded by a diverse community of musicians, poets, dramatists, and creatives. They spend time singing, sharing, eating, and laughing together in Lenoir, Morganton, Hickory, and beyond.
