When he joined the security team in 2016, John Mruk brought a wealth of experience in law enforcement to NCSSM, especially in the area of campus environment. He served as a police officer at Boston College and N.C. State University, and has experience in investigations and using CCTV and control access. In addition to law enforcement, John studied clarinet and music theory for two years at North Carolina Central University and clarinet for one year at Boston College and the New England Conservatory.
