Jason Costner joined NCSSM in August 2022 as Lead Campus Safety Officer for our Morganton campus. He came to NCSSM from the Broughton Hospital Police Department, where he had served since 2014. Jason held various roles within the Broughton Police Department, including patrol officer, investigator and assistant police chief. Prior to his service with the Broughton Hospital Police Department, he worked as a ranger at South Mountains State Park. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time outdoors and spending time with his wife, Emily.
