Damien Overcash joined NCSSM in July 2023 as a Campus Safety Officer for our Morganton campus. Born and raised in North Carolina, he comes from a family of outspoken people, standing up for things he believes in and finding ways to make an impact. He is interested in psychology and writing, and is also a ceramic artist with West Union Art Studios in downtown Morganton. When he isn’t working on campus or with clay, he appreciates anything done outdoors, reading manga, and learning new trades. He’s an open book so if you ever see him around campus, feel free to stop and talk.
