Grant Harrison joined NCSSM in September 2021 as Data Management and Technical Support Lead for the school. Prior to joining NCSSM, Grant discovered a passion for supporting educational institutions while working in UNC-Chapel Hill’s Department of Surgery. Some of Grant’s notable data projects at UNC Surgery included implementing an attendance tracking system for continuing medical education as well as an assessment system for maintenance of certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Other projects included managing a database for the Jaycee Burn Center’s Aftercare program and a database for faculty and resident peer evaluations. Outside of work, Grant is an avid tennis player and enjoys exploring the outdoors and sampling his way through the Historic NC Barbeque Trail.
