The NCSU Osteology Laboratory provides students with opportunities to study and identify human bones. Photo: Fred Hurteau
The NCSU Sociology and Anthropology Department’s Osteology Laboratory contains hundreds of real and cast bones, microscopy and measurement equipment and an ever growing collection of human skeletons. It is a great resource for students.
Wishing to share this resource with her distance education students scattered across the state, NCSSM Forensic Science instructor Candice Chambers visited the Osteology Laboratory armed with a camera by her side. By creating a video of her visit to the laboratory, Chambers helps share this valuable resource with students everywhere.
