Lessons designed for Algebra 2 courses have been developed through a collaboration between Algebra 2 teachers in North Carolina and teachers in the Mathematics department of NCSSM. These lessons directly address the state curriculum and the End of Course test.

Lessons and activities are based in the real world, use concepts of mathematics modeling, and require access to a graphing calculator by every student. Each lesson lists the current goals of the North Carolina Curriculum addressed in the lesson, the materials necessary for students to successfully complete the lesson, and activities for the class.

Lessons include teacher notes, classroom-ready handouts, and follow-up problems for students. In some cases, PowerPoint slide presentation or animated video files are also included. Many of the settings for the lessons are based on the published Indicators for Algebra 2 developed by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
