Location: Watts Lawn at NCSSM-Durham

Guests: The ceremony is open to NCSSM Online seniors and their family members. In an effort to ensure seniors have no restrictions on the number of family members they can invite, this event is closed to the general public. No tickets are required UNLESS inclement weather necessitates moving indoors. If the ceremony is moved indoors, each Online senior will be allowed to bring up to 5 guests, with any additional guests allowed if space permits.

Seating: Guests may arrive on campus starting at 8 a.m. There is no assigned seating. We ask that everyone be in their seats by no later than 9:45 a.m.

Ceremony: Remarks from the Chancellor and Student Speaker and recognition of Panoff and Golden Catalyst award winners. Awarding of certificates will conclude the ceremony.

Professional Photographer: Strawbridge Studios will take professional photographs of each senior as they receive their certificate. A copy of this photograph will be mailed to each senior during the summer, courtesy of Academic Programs.

Livestream: The entire event will be streamed live on the NCSSM YouTube channel.

Post-Ceremony Reception: A small reception will immediately follow the Online Recognition Ceremony on Bryan Lawn. In addition to light refreshments being served, alumni T-shirts and yearbooks will be distributed by the Online Resource Coordinators.
