The 340 bright, capable students making up North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics’ Class of 2015 applied to more colleges and universities than Gail Hudson, dean of counseling, has seen in her more than two decades of advising graduating students. By far the greatest majority of the new graduates will be attending three Triangle-area schools this fall: University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, NC State University, and Duke University.
