NCSSM alumnus Scott Jacobson ‘95 just picked up his 6th Emmy Award, during the 2017 Creative Emmy Awards Show held in Los Angeles on September 10. Jacobson won as a writer and co-executive producer on the Fox animated series “Bob’s Burgers,” which won for Outstanding Animated Series. Read more from the News and Observer.
The award follows five others for the writer/producer, who, in addition to “Bob’s Burgers,” has written for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and “Saturday Night Live.”
In a 2015 interview with NCSSM student Annie Astraikis, he said he loved his humanities instructors at NCSSM and credits them for lighting a spark.
