They hail from 77 of North Carolina’s 100 counties, and they were selected from the largest pool of applicants to date. To date, North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics’ Class of 2017 comprises 359 new residential students and 163 online students.

The newly accepted residential students and their parents visited campus on Saturday, April 18, for Welcome Day. Small-group information sessions helped to orient students and parents.
