The nonprofit EducationNC recently published an introduction to North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics on its website. The organization, also known as EdNC, “seeks to expand the educational opportunities for all children in North Carolina, increase their academic attainment, and improve the performance of the state’s public schools. EdNC provides the state with data, research, news, information, and analysis about the major trends, issues, and challenges facing public schools,” as it shares on its website.
Alisa Herr, chief technical officer for EdNC, visited campus this spring and talked with Chancellor Todd Roberts and Vice Chancellors Melissa Thibault and Brock Winslow, among others, to prepare her story. Read the EdNC post.
