Born in Missouri, Todd Bollinger’s family moved to Durham in 1981. He graduated from Cresset Christian Academy in 1989. Growing up working on golf courses, Todd decided to earn his bachelor’s degree in agronomy-turf grass management from NC State University. After receiving his degree in 1996, he moved to Asheville and worked for a local landscaping company before returning to Raleigh as an assistant golf course superintendent. Todd began as Grounds Supervisor at NCSSM in October 2002. Todd and his crew are responsible for all outdoor campus maintenance. Their duties include maintenance of all turf areas, tree and shrub maintenance, maintenance of hard surfaces and mulched areas, maintenance of athletic fields, and much more. He also serves as one of four Sustainability Officers on campus, spearheads the planting of trees, and helps to coordinate campus recycling.
