Shimeka Taborn joined NCSSM in February 2025 as Housekeeper for our Durham campus. Prior to NCSSM, she worked for Duke University and for Durham Technical Community College. Shimeka enjoys her work and it brings her great pleasure to ensure the cleanliness of our campus facilities. Outside of work, she loves baking and taking walks with her teenage daughter.
