Students will use case-based learning regarding diseases and exercise to explore the interactions between body systems, focusing on the circulatory and respiratory systems. Merge Cubes (Augmented Reality) will help students visualize these body systems and their interactions. Students will also complete activities such as measuring physiological data, constructing model lungs, designing a mitral valve replacement, and creating a pumping heart model. They will then discover how exercise and breathing techniques impact systems in their own bodies.
