Course Description:

A Weeklong Journey Through the Universe

An out-of-this-world adventure for young astronomers!

Blast off into a week of cosmic discovery as campers explore the wonders of our galaxy and beyond! Each day combines hands-on science, creative art, engaging games, and real astronomical exploration to build a deeper understanding of space. Campers will investigate different types of galaxies, uncover the incredible objects that fill them, learn about our own Milky Way, and dive into the mysteries of comets, asteroids, and dwarf planets. The week wraps up with an exciting planetarium field trip where students journey through our solar system and create their own planetary models.

Through interactive stations, art projects, scavenger hunts, and STEM-focused challenges, campers develop curiosity, teamwork, and scientific thinking—all while having a stellar good time. Galloping Galaxies is the perfect blend of imagination and inquiry, inspiring every child to look up, wonder, and dream big.
