Exploring Cybersecurity: Protecting the Digital World
This weeklong Summer Accelerator course introduces students to the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity. Participants will explore how digital information is protected, analyze real-world cyber threats, and examine the ethical and professional responsibilities of cybersecurity experts. Through interactive simulations, field experiences, and hands-on problem-solving activities, students will gain practical skills in data protection, encryption, and online safety. The course culminates in a collaborative cyber defense challenge where teams apply their knowledge to safeguard a simulated network.
