Course Description:

Students will engage in authentic ecological research, learning to identify plant species, conduct field and stream biodiversity assessments, and analyze environmental data collected from two distinct ecosystems. The course emphasizes the connections between biodiversity, conservation, and environmental health, blending outdoor exploration with lab-based microscopy and data analysis.

Mr. White served on staff for Summer Accelerator the first year at Morganton in 2022! He is returning this summer as a science teacher. He currently teaches at McDowell High School.
