Using the Engineering Design Process, students will design a robot and then code their creation to control speed, navigate obstacles, and complete tasks. They will also design a device to 3D print for the robot in order to complete a final challenge.

About The Instructor:
Mrs. Blaire Miller has 20+ years experience as a high school CTE Technology teacher and middle school math teacher. She coordinates Catawba County Schools annual SumoFest and is a longtime member of the CCS STEM Task Force. She serves as The Mechanical Minds FIRST Robotics Competition # 6639 lead mentor. (Her team of thirty students design, fabricate, program and test a competitive, industrial robot in eight weeks.) She is Catawba County Schools 2023 NCCAT CTE Teacher of the Year.
