Creative Coding with Finch Robotics

Have you ever wondered how robotics work? Have you ever wanted to learn how to code robotics to make artificial intelligence? In this course you will learn how coding works, how artificial intelligence works and ways these things are used in the real world. Students will learn how to code using Snap, Block/Text Coding and Java Script coding. Students will code Finch Robots to do some creative projects.

I have worked in education for 18 years. I taught second grade for 10 years. When teaching at the elementary level I loved using digital resources and hands on activities. For the past 8 years I have worked as a media coordinator/instructional technology facilitator at a middle school. I live in Taylorsville, NC with my husband, daughter and miniature schnauzer. I received my bachelor degree in elementary education from Mars Hill College near Asheville, NC. I received both of my graduate degrees (educational media and library science) from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
